The Education Director manages Hearts of Hope's education department services and maintains effective partnerships with Acadiana area school systems, early childhood education centers and allied-professional organizations to implement prevention & intervention programs that combat sexual violence in the area. Training sessions and workshops are periodically provided for law enforcement, criminal justice system professionals and behavioral/mental health professionals. Sessions are provided in the Sexual Abuse Response Center for survivors and their families. Policy change, social change campaigns and awareness events are apart of the framework for college campuses across southwest Louisiana. Our center works with the Catholic Diocese as well as other faith-based organizations to complement "Safe Environment" programs and other prevention efforts.
